Wizard is an utility class based around casting various spells. They can choose one out of three specializations, each having five distinct spells. Wizard can fulfill various roles, depending on which specialization they choose and which spells they focus on. They get no special items outside of their spellcasting equipment: Magic Wand and Spell Book.
This class is highly experimental and is not considered to be balanced.

Special Mechanics
Wizard has a mana pool for casting spells. Maximum mana is 18, starting value is 6. One mana is replenished every 90 seconds and 2 mana are gained when the Wizard gets a kill. Mana is represented by the experience bar - each segment equals one mana. Because of that, Wizards cannot gain experience, enchant or use an anvil.
Spell Book is used to select a specialization (or discipline) and to setup spells for Magic Wand.
Magic Wand can be used (via left or right-clicking) to cast spells. Some Spells have cooldowns.
Specializations
Note: Wizard is currently being reworked into only three specializations; this page is currently not up to date!
The five disciplines are:
- Pyromancer
- Can use Fireball, Meteor, Ignite nearby enemies, cast a Fiery Rain and damage foes in one direction by Conflagration.
- Is immune to being ignited.
- Stormcaller
- Can cast both individual Thunderbolts and global Thunderstorms, nullify enemy projectiles with Wind Barrier, levitate them with Hurricane and shock them with Electric Touch.
- Still Mage
- Can slow individual enemies with Freeze and Frostbite and in an area with Lethargy, stop them in their tracks with Ice Tomb and they can Prolong Effect on both allies and enemies.
- Psionic
- Can Disguise themselves, Spawn Illusions to aid them, sow Chaos by swapping player appearances, shoot enemies with Mind Bolt and can sentence someone to almost certain death with Fatal Rage.
- Necromancer
- Can Summon Undead individuals, Legions and Hordes. They can also Drain Life and ruin target's food with Pestilence.
All spell descriptions can be found here[1] for the time being. (in Czech, lacks numbers)
Specialization can be reset with the admin command:

Tips
It can be worth it to save the choice of your discipline for later. You will gain mana as normal even before choosing.
It is worth it to save your spells for exceptional situations as you seldom have mana to spare.
Ice Tomb is an excellent choice for hunting high-value or elusive players.
Thunderstorm can be extremely useful while fighting in open areas such as Crossroads or Last Watch.
Meteor can be used to siege fortified positions.
Summon Undead Legion can be useful while storming enemy positions.
Spawn Illusions and Chaos are useful in large-scale battles as they don't affect your allies.
Trivia
This class was initially an experiment to showcase what can be done with Minecraft.
